What are ties and tie cutting?

Ties or cords are purely made of energy that keeps you connected to those who have been or are in your life.

You can’t see them with your eyes but you can be aware of them in your mind's eye. They are etheric, subtle strands of energy, created by our thoughts and intentions towards each other as we go about our lives. Just as a baby is connected to their mother in the womb by an umbilical these spiritual cords of energy keep us connected.

• Overpowering work colleagues
• Children
• Partners
• Parents
• Loved ones and pets in the spirit world
• Friends

Why cut ties?

It is important to cut ties with many of the people who come into your lives.

Tie cutting is not just to be used for cutting ties from toxic relationships or relationships that are over.

It can be very beneficial to cut ties between parent and child, as the child grows up we need to step back and allow them to be their own person and cutting ties can help you to allow them the freedom to do this.

If you worry about your loved ones it creates thick ties between you and worry can be felt as heavy energy, weighing you down. Tie cutting will help you not to worry and can allow your loved one the freedom to live their lives without the feeling of responsibility for you, and you feeling responsible for them.

Or if you were in a negative relationship and still emotionally feel the effects that it had on you then tie cutting will release you from those feelings.

If you keep getting an overwhelming feeling or thought of someone coming into your mind but do not know why, I would say it is a sign that you need to cut the ties between you.
